The next house to be built was a little more work as it had to be big enough for three grown sims. It also had to be a suitable location for Liv and Trent to plant a garden.

They chose a location that had a pond and a natural hot spring. The hot springs would come in handy after a hard day's gardening.

They get started right away on planting the vegetables. It would probably take years to get the soil perfect for produce, but it would have to do for now.

Ruby was content just to have a corner setup for her sewing projects. It helped distract her from feeling a bit like a third wheel.

Trent and Liv weren't in a committed relationship and if Liv has her way she never will be. Yet she agreed to live with Trent and Ruby anyway.

The house barely fit the three of them, but resources and time were a bit tight.

The location was also chosen due to its natural source of available food. They have a banana tree in their front garden and the pond out back is stocked with fish.

Quinn stopped by for a soak in the hot springs, but things quickly got awkward so he left.

Liv and Trent made use of it well into the night.

Being constantly in the presence of Liv and Trent has made Ruby feel a little lonely. Sure, the thing she had with Erik was nice, but he was always so busy trying to get this island civilized. Unfortunately Quinn isn't as open with his relationships as she is.

Ruby will never step into water that comes above her head when she is standing, but she has no qualms about making use of the hot springs during one of Erik's rare visits.

Trent had the shock of his life one rainy day when a lightning bolt struck the very ground he stood on. Luckily it didn't seem to have any lasting harm and no one witnessed him soiling himself.

Life on the new island is pleasantly busy.

Ruby has been busy making so many new items with her sewing machine that Liv convinced her to open a little stall where she could sell them to the other islanders. They didn't have much for a currency system yet so they worked mostly by trade. If someone didn't have goods to trade then they would trade for services. It seemed to work for now.

Ruby was good at convincing people they needed her frivolous items. Didn't everyone need 20 pot holders?

Even Trent was inclined to help with the stall on occasion.

Even though he prefered to just relax in the hammock. That didn't always end well for him.

Natalya ended up being one of their best customers, though Liv wondered why she was buying so many teddy bears.

Zayne even popped by on the odd evening. Though Liv suspected it was just to check up on things and see how it was going.

After awhile things became routine around the house. The girls started eating together as neither of them appreciated Trent's table manners.

All that hard gardening was also finally starting to pay off.

Then one day, while Liv was using her experimental pesticides, the nozzle got clogged and started spraying right back in her face.

When the cloud finally cleared she noticed she had gained some plant-like qualities. She wasn't sure what happened to her or how this new condition would affect her. Or if she could even survive this transformation.

Trent didn't seem to mind, or even notice for that matter.

The first thing Liv noticed, besides no longer feeling the need to eat, was this connection she now seemed to have with her plants. If was as if they could actually understand her, and she, them.

Erik seems to only pop around for a booty call anymore. Not that Ruby really minds. But as soon as they're finished he struts off back to his work.

But she was surprised one night when he brought her some wild roses he must have found during his explorations.

Not only did Liv find she no longer needed to eat, but she never got tired anymore. This meant the nights were long and lonely.

She has taken to running the stall all night in hopes that someone would show up. Only Zayne ever did.

Sometimes Natalya came too and they would sneak off to the hot springs together.

The long nights without the sun wound up to be pretty hard on Liv. She needed to spend a good few hours soaking up the rays before she felt energized enough to work.

Unfortunately the only one she could approach to help her with her dilemma wasn't really on good terms with her.

Every encounter with Erik just turns into an argument. Its looking like Liv won't be able to forgive Erik his indiscretions.

She tries not to let it bother her, but that smile isn't always genuine.

Trent even seems to notice something is off at times.

One day without any warning at all, Ruby noticed a bit of a swell to her belly. She has her suspicions, but finds it odd that she hasn't had any symptoms.

Liv must have noticed Ruby's belly because as soon as Erik shows up she gives him a what-for.

Ruby's suspicions seem to be correct. She wasn't planning on having children and finds she has mixed feelings about it. She has a lot to think about before the baby arrives.
