Round Two - Keating

Erik was still plugging away at his tasks, but Ruby was becoming more and more of a distraction.



Her constant presence made it exceptionally hard to study the few books he had pertaining to mechanics.



Erik wasn't having any luck with the water wheel so he has been working on a new idea to get power to everyone's house. With any luck he would be done soon.









Sometimes Ruby was a welcome distraction. When things got a little too frustrating ti was nice to unwind a little.



He finally had everything he needed, now he just needed to make the last few tweaks and fire it up. Hopefully it will go off without a hitch. The plan would be to have the spinning blades from the wind power a batter held in the metal case down below.



He released the pin that was stopping the blades from moving. They were spinning properly, so that was a good sign. Only time would tell if the battery would accept and hold the charge.









With one project hopefully completed he only needs to get running water working. He already has the catchment system in place for his own house, but it is nowhere near big enough to supply water to everyone. He could already be enjoying a gravity fed shower and flushing toilet, but he had no time to focus on himself.



This place was starting to feel a little crowded with all the scrap parts laying around. In his free time he managed to create a few toy robots and some other things he thought someone might like. He decided to put some of it out for barter.



Looks like he was right, in no time sims were showing up to browse his wares. He was surprised to see that Liv and Trent showed up. He didn't have the best relationship with either of them anymore.

Erik has the workaholic trait and he is a romance sim, so children were the last thing he had planned for his life. I'm hoping they will form some kind of relationship as Maddison gets older.

Erik and Ruby are pretty much perfect for each other since they're both romance sims. They booty call all the time and neither seem to mind. Thank you. I feel like I have too much CC, but it is so worth it when you get to have some fun plots to play with!

Erik is quite interesting character, living with all that junk ;) I do hope he forms a relationship with his daughter when she grows up.

Hes a bit of an eccentric hermit type, isn't he? His contact with other sims is often reduced down to a bootycall with Ruby, especially when he is busy crafting. I'm hoping some interaction will go on between those two as well. I think Maddison would like to know her real parents at some point in her life.
