Round Four - Ambrose

Now that some of the children have grown up to school age - they needed someone to give them some direction and teach them how to read and write. Natalya volunteered for the job provided she could work at home. It would be easier on the little one and she would still be around to care for the new baby when it finally arrived.



Nanys reluctantly agreed that it might be a good idea if the children from their village could learn to write simlish and maybe a little bit of what life is like on the mainland. Learning to read and write in a language they only knew how to speak previously was a challenge.











After school the children hang around for a little bit and get to know each other a bit better.



Nanys picks up the children from the village and to check up on how the first day went.
"So how did it go? Did the children behave? School is a very new experience for them."
"The children are struggling with reading simlish, but so is Maddison. They will pick it up in no time though. Children are quick learners."



"This is fantastic news. Though I still have mixed feelings about exposing our children to your ways of life I think it will be good for them to see how others outside our village live. Living here on the island has cut us off from the outside world and no offence meant, but with your people settled here it is only a matter of time before this island is put on the map. The children should be educated so they can better deal with what lies ahead."



"We're very sorry for any problems we have caused for you and your people. You already know the story of how we got here, if we had any other choice we would have taken it."
"Natalya, it is ok. I have known something like this would happen eventually. We are grateful that you have been so respectful of our wishes for this land so far and I hope we can maintain a working relationship to ensure that everyone is kept happy."
"Of course! With Zayne in charge of this settlement you will not be disappointed. My husband has nothing but the best intentions for everyone involved."



"This is wonderful news. The children and I must be leaving now, I will see you soon, Natalya."
"See you soon, Nanys. It was good of you to bring the children."



















Thor and Gryffon celebrated a birthday recently too, meaning they can now attend school with the other children. They're growing up so quickly!





Erik is still working on the beds for them so they make due until then.



Early one morning Natalya woke up to what she knew were labour pains. Thor heard her cries and came to check it out, unsure of what was wrong with his mother.









She gave birth to another healthy baby boy named Zephyr.



Gryffon is thrilled to have a new little brother to play with.







School is a little busier now that the boys have grown up. They are all good students though and diligently work on their class assignments.









Thor and the native girl called Rose have struck up quite the friendship.





That night when Zayne emerges from his coffin, Natalya is quick to surprise him with the good news.

"Congratulations - again - Daddy. We have another son."





Erik was too busy building the desks for the school that the boy's bed still hasn't been finished.



Unfortunately this causes some problems when it comes around to bedtime. Especially with Natalya so exhausted from having the new baby and running the school.



"Why don't you take some time off, babe. I'll look after the little one tonight."
"I suppose I could use some rest..."



Zayne couldn't be happier changing his son's diaper. He is just so grateful to have both his new son and his wife still here. He knew just how hard the pregnancy hit her this time.



Zayne is really close with his sons. Thor especially. He is always running to give his Dad hugs before he gets into his coffin for the day.



The boy's beds have finally arrived. It makes for some tight living quarters, but they don't seem to mind.











The children are still struggling through classes. They're really enjoying the time they get to spend playing together afterwards though.



Zayne was worried that his wife was overdoing it so soon after having the baby.
"I'm ok, honey, really. The boys and school keep me busy, but I like it."
"Well, I just don't want to find you passed out again on the floor is all."
"You worry too much."





Then Zephyr grew up and everyone exploded due to cuteness overload. The end.



Seriously though. And he is a vampire too.





Maddison stayed really later after school one night playing with the boys and she couldn't resist having a round of peek-a-boo with Zephyr.





The bond between father and son is instant.



(Yes, I intend to spam the hell out of this child. You have been warned.)





Zayne finally agreed to let Erik update their facilities.







After the last pregnancy one can only hope that these two are done having kids.







Plus Zephyr is a good grand finale for this family.





"So this school thing, is it normal where you come from?"
"I don't know. I was born on this island just like you were. But my mommy said she used to have to walk to school up hills both way in the snow. I don't even know what snow is."
"Oh."





By the time you reach the third child potty training it gets to be a little meticulous.







Natalya makes delicious and nutritious meals. Nothing but the best for her boys.

Haha, poor kids...doing their grade work in the rain :D I love that you added the school! And omg, little villagers!! Are you planning to build an orphanage, too? Little Zephyr is oh, so cute! And the boys grew up well too. :) What an adorable family!

It rains A LOT in Desolation Sound, so they better get used to it! When I created the villagers I made children teens and adults so my sims would have someone at all the main stages of life to befriend. The children will be growing with my sims though because there are so few of them. I will probably create more when that happens so there are always villager children around. I'm not sure if they will always be attending school though, especially once the population increases. I will probably have an orphanage at some point, usually I add one in when the kids get taken by the social worker, but who knows, I might be inspired to add one sooner.

The boys are all very handsome and capable of entertaining themselves, woo! This is my favourite family to play if you couldn't tell. :)
